is looking for a full-time Sign Maker.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and a team player.
This position is responsible for making signs, mounting signs, and installing them in customers' properties.
Sign Shop Employee will assist the sign shop with all projects and orders by drawing, cutting and applying vinyl film to prepared surfaces.
Prepare shop for upcoming work as well as cleaning and re-organizing as needed.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Track inventory and materials; produce supply orders Design, cut and apply vinyl to sign backing.
Fulfill customer orders by the required deadline.
Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
Complete other assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Follow safety guidelines at all times.
Keep the shop organized and clean.
Assist other individuals in the area when needed.
Cross train in the silk-screening area of the department.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Computer experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop needed Must have good communication skills Inventory tracking experience is a plus Must have excellent time management skills Must have a strong work ethic Ability to work 8-10 hours a day Willing to work overtime as needed Attention to detail is a must Have good communication skills Basic math skills Ability to read a ruler Should be familiar with using basic hand tools (X-Acto knife, Utility knife, T-Square, Ruler, Tape Measure, Calculator, and Scissors) Must be able to work as an individual and as a team Able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to climb and work from a ladder.
